Looking for something fun to do this fall with your family? Look no farther than Crossroads Corn Maze in Wendell, NC. Just a short drive outside of Raleigh or Wake Forest, Crossroads has tons of fun for all ages of kids and adults!
Crossroads is a family owned corn maze that is 5 acres and typically takes about an hour to make it through the maze. They are typically open (weather permitting) Friday through Sunday for the entire month of October!
In addition to a giant corn maze, Crossroads also has the following activities to enjoy if you are visiting:
If you are looking for an event that is a little more “spooky”, Crossroads Corn Maze also allows you to venture into the maze after dark every Friday and Saturday night until 9pm. One weekend in October they also have trick or treating in the corn maze! So dress your little ones up in their Halloween costumes and trick or treat in the maze.
Depending on the crop for the year, some of the stalks may be over your head, which makes it even more fun to navigate! The paths are wide enough for strollers and are typically clear and easy for walking. As the pathways are dirt, some of the areas may be bumpy. Running strollers are recommended for the pathways as they have large tires for the different terrains. It is also recommended that you wear comfortable running shoes!
The corn maze also has lookout towers located in the middle so you can get a birds-eye view of the maze and corn stalks as far as the eye can see! Seeing it from above can also help guide you in the right direction out of the maze!
Getting lost is half the fun! In order to help guests that are lost, Crossroads has Maze Runners stationed throughout the maze. They are there to help guide you out of the maze or give hints on which direction to head. If you are at the maze with a group, you can also wave your group flag and a Maze Runner will help direct you out.
If you are lost, please do not run through the corn stalks. This is for safety reasons as well as to keep the stalks in good condition for other guests to enjoy. If you don’t see a Maze Runner nearby, just wave your flag and a runner will be sent to help!
